Sweet 2-center!

The old field has now been tilled up! Same site that I previously dug two LC's, an IH and a worn Capped Bust half dime. Today turned out pretty good also!

I recovered a sweet 1864 2-Cent piece and a beat Matron head, think it's 1828. Also some buttons and a thimble...

Awesome detail on your 2 center. Ive seen others on here (mine included) that were dug from fields and were in the exact same shape!! the field where i got mine murdered some of my LCs (fertilizer), yet my 2 center was a survivor. Im convinced they made the 2 centers w/ an indestructable metal lol

Very nice coin . 2 Centers are a mix metal that stands up well in soil were others
coins fall apart.

Good call. I've noticed the same thing. They hold up really well.
