Hi all,

It's been a while! Hope everyone is well!

I got a chance to go out this morning to add to my clad count..it was a cooler morning than we've had in a while and the humidity was down, so I decided to go to one of the schools and swing the coil for a little while.

The coins were slow to come, but I started finding change here and there. I also found a small pendant and a key, but before I left I got a big quarter hit by a bench near a baseball diamond and pulled out my first men's class ring :hello2: The others I have found were women's rings, which make it a bit harder to find the owners..this one was a college ring from 2004 and has the guy's full name inside. Looks like I got some homework to do!

As some of you know, I finally got my book, "A Starter Guide To Successful Treasure Hunting" back from the printer, and autographed copies will be available in about 2 weeks! If you're interested or have any questions about it, please email me at [email protected].

Hope you all find a little treasure this week!

Did you read the story or just look at the pictures ? This is what he posted. "this one was a college ring from 2004 and has the guy's full name inside." Very nice finds and good luck finding the owner. :icon_thumleft:

Nice surprise find, I'm sure you won't have a hard time finding the individual, probably on FB. Keep us informed.

 RR

I wonder if they have a Chamanade H.S. in every state or city. I grew up in N.Y. and we used to play Chamanade in football every once in awhile.

WTG on the class ring Nt I'm still waiting to get my first one so I can join the club , Glad to hear the book is almost ready to start handing out you excited yet .Let me know when the books ready I'm still wanting a copy ,have a great one :icon_thumleft:

Natman , that looks like a honker - is it 10 0r 14k ? I just found a small ladies class ring ,
that appears to be 14 k - it only has initials inside , and no date so I don't know if the alumni ,
association can help . Good job man ! Argentium.

Thanks all

I returned one last year by calling the school, they helped out quite a bit.

The ring is not marked, so I'm not sure it's gold..it does have the ring company inside along with the guy's name.

My mistake. My reading must have gotten thrown off by the avatar. Gotta get some glasses it seems. :D

You got it wrong. You were Gold hunting and the clad kept getting in the way. :headbang:

Woo Hoo!!! Great find, Nat!!!   :icon_king:

Glad you got out for a bit!

Nat, your book is a great treasure hunting guide for new detectorists that dealers could offer with every new detector!

:director: Any dealers out there listening?

Nice find! I hope when you contact the owner he wants it back.

The owner of the one I found still hasn't gotten back to me since last year!

Gary

I returned one last year..I phoned the mother of the girl who lost it ..she didn't want to have anything to do with me and hung up! I had to go through the school, and a nice lady called her for me and then she called me back! I told her to have her daughter to call me if she wanted it back. The daughter was thankful, but I could have done without the mistrust. I guess that's the world we live in :dontknow:
