Surface finds from a site last year

I found these in an area where I had found a full native pottery bowl sticking out of the sand as a kid. This was before I got back into detecting and I am going to go hit it this weekend. The fork appears to be turn of the century? The other piece has "Pat Oct 80 - 06 on it with D-442 in another spot. Can anyone give me an idea what it is? It is a wedge shape.

Thank you sir! I think it may be off of a farming implement. The site should be old enough to be worth checking out and aside from cattle ranching it gets no traffic so the modern trash should be minimal.

Looks like a spacer for making adjustments on a door hinge.
