Wow! You sure are on a great spot.

Well haven't had a chance to go back yet due to the frigid cold temps. Not sure how long the spot will last due to shifting sands again....At pro users; the area I've been hunting is pretty trashy, although I've been digging everything I think the highly mineralized sand still causes much falsing and I think has an effect on depth...question is do you At Pro users think I may benefit at all with the smaller coil in these conditions?

Not familiar with that detector. Falsing is part of beach MDing.
Seems like you are doing -fantastic-digging everything. Keep it up-your finds are very inspiring.
It is beach detecting-sand-dig it. If it was a park I might agree w a smaller coil.
Easy sand digging-just study what you're doing. Find the next trashy spot and bury one of the good target you found. Listen and change modes or sensitivity. perfect place to experiment.
Wish I had a beach w that kind of variety of old coins.
Could get sanded in-but I think that you'll have a few more winter type erosions.

I'm from NJ originally and used to go to Wildwood for md'ing and theres usually alot to be found on those beaches! I've only come across a half reale. That's about as rare as I've found. But kits of clad and jewelry.keep it up buddy.natural disasters are bad for everyone but us huh? Not trying to make light of the Sandy situation i wasn't there for it, but it was disastrous. Good finds! HH
