Howdy all, just got permission to some new sites and had the opportunity this week to scan a few of them and it payed off. 1st site is in corn stubble which I normally don't hunt but it's extremely wet out and it's the only place I wouldn't sink to my knees in. I was surprised how clean the site is ( hardly any trash, iron) 10 buttons, one being a eagle I and 6 coins!! Can't wait to get back there when I can actually swing over lol .

Dates are
1860&1861 indians
1845&18?? Large cents
1868 lll center
1832 Capped bust dime

Few days later I stopped by the 2nd site which is bean stubble and looked perfect but I didn't get to swing much because I was sinking bad but it payed off what lil time I was there. This site still has barns and grain bins there so lots more trash but still came out with some goodies. Many won't know what the slate piece is but I'm over the moon!!! It's a broken notched bannerstone that has a repair hole drilled in it which is a first for me!!!!!!!

Coins are
1871 or 74 Indian
1917,1945,19?? Wheaties

Didn't realize I found a small lapel pin ( just a ball of mud) has a neat design on it!

Happy Hunting y'all

Awesome!!! Congrats!!!

Love that key! Congrats!

What a gold mine of a spot. Little modern trash is a bonus. You might even find an old cache in there the plows have missed.

That's an awesome lineup of artifacts fishstick! Congrats! I've been trying to figure out what you didn't find. Looks like you covered about everything, Ha! Bannerstones in whatever shape are rare!! I also like the capped bust dime!

Fantastic finds! It's a shame that banner stone is broken, but either way that is one rare find. Congrats!

Banner stone is sweet. What’s your thought on the hole in the coin? I found one that was a little bit later 1860’s that had a hole in it.

GREAT FINDS :) YOU did outstanding :) THANKS !!!
