Sunday’s Treasures!!

Sorry for the delay in posting! We managed to get out yesterday, beautiful sunshine but a chilly wind! The farmer was out ploughing our racecourse fields, so we went to a previously quiet field… and Had a lovely time! xx

First off himself found a marvellous fibula! Then a chunky weird bit.. feels like a horse bit.. but probably not? Bent little strap, 2 strange patterned bits, pot mend, thimble bits, buttons, bobbin shot and musket balls, some pre dec coins then my star finds 2 roman coins, so this field has definitely gone back on the to do list!!!

It is strange how a previously quiet field comes to life depending on weather/season.

The added bonus is this field has such cool views back across to our other fields xx
