Another cracking day in the race course field today….himself reckons it’s about 90 acres….the last pic shows you the grass track round the edge. Which is still used as a training gallop by a local racing stable. Got so warm today a Bumble bee joined us in the truck at lunchtime 🥰 xx

Tap key, found where we think the grandstand was, tiny buckle still with the end of the leather strap, ammo, the field is full of these cartridges 😅 must of dug over 20 of them this weekend, 2 bobbin shots, musket balls…… little lead seal, an array of gilt back buttons, again from the grandstand area, normal buttons, big buckle, himself found a cartwheel penny, a 1940 penny, and finally my gorgeous little hammered xx (which himself thinks is an Edward 1st Durham Mint 1279…🤔 )

Very nice!
congrats.
Squeaked out a hammered yet again...

Poor bee must have been wanting a spot of tea. Looking slightly worn.

Nice hammered you saved.
Big old key that is, keep for future use in case you need to a certain person on/off.😁

Another stellar hunt, with a cartwheel and another hammered to boot!

Another winning day!
