Ahh the joy of detecting on a glorious Autumnal day, much warmer today so we headed off to the village fields, we can’t do these fields on a Saturday as they are shooting the poor pheasants in them 😢 …. they have been planted but Farm Manger says we can still go in them 😆xx

Well we had a cracking day… first off I found this Bridle Boss 😍then we have a tobacco pot lid, then a possible strap end 🤔 then a definite strap end, not sure on the next little decorated bit, watch winder, 2 buckle bits, corset stay and bit of plate, loop and a musket, my gorgeous cuff link next, not sure about this next one some kind of fastener, livery button, fancy bit, a big nipple button, crotal bell with pattern on bottom, then a tiny crotal type bell 🤔more buttons than you can shake a stick at 😆 then found my first Victoria farthing 1860, he found the penny 1874(?) then an absolute belter to finish my George 1st Penny, 1714 - 1727)!

What an awesome day… just the best! oh and took a (rubbish) photo of a herd of geese flying over! They made such a racket I thought himself had found gold 😂😂 xx

Well that field treated you to lots of recoveries.

I haven't seen a bell as the longated lemon shaped one before.
So cool getting a maker's mark on the other one.

Well done on the winder, another very nice addition.

These ones I wonder about. The decorated one a part of a spur.
Though the ticking has me wondering if it's early one.
The other I see 2 possible things book clasp, strap end. (Side view photo?)

Some really cool pieces Bloss.... so many questions on what they could be. How about the birds? What are they and that beautiful flower :love10:
