My buddy George and I hit the beach this morning. Started around 5:30 a.m. and finished up around 9:30. Scooping up the clad in hopes of some jewelry when I got a deep coin signal. Surprised to see a 1859 seated dime. Pretty beat up, but still somewhat readable. Also got my first Euro coin,a junk ring, a small Angel charm, and some other doodads. It all adds up.

I know the salt water can take it's toll on the silver Mike....That is an awesome scoop, definetley unexpected.!!!

Mike,
Great job on the beach finds. It looks like that one item is a silver bezel. I wonder if it held a coin at one time.

I'm still waiting for my first seated coin.
