Took advantage of the nice day by taking off work and getting back to the newly found colonial farm field site. Got a big whatsit at the top of the picture as well as some other typical colonial finds including a nice etched tombac button. Eventually got on another George II Hibernia copper as well. I then wandered about 50 yards away from concentration of finds and hit a banging coin like signal around 27 on the Nox. You can understand my shock when out popped a beauty of a 1764 1 Real. My first ever 1 real of this variety. I promptly headed to the truck knowing Ill probably not top this coin all year
