Straps

Do a google search on the "swingy thingy". I'm pretty sure that's what's it's called

What kind of strap are you referring too? The arm cuff strap, a swing strap, etc, etc?

Arm straps are carried by detector dealers.

If u r talking about straps to hold the detector like a harness I recomend the original detecting buddy very confortable pretty cheap u can.use with any detector & I use it with my v3i was usung it for my Atpro & it makes them totaly weightless

And if ur talking bout a strap to attach to a belt while ur wading . Look at the brass swivel clips attached to the rope at the top of this pic. I attached a brass oring to the detector arm cuff and I wrap the swivel clips and rope around my belt and then I can quickly attach the detector to my belt. I usually let it hang next to me while I use the scoop:

I don't see a picture. :(

Kelly do you mean a strap that goes on the arm cuff,or a harness?

I guess more like a harness but maybe something lighter? I've not seen one (just arm cuffs when I searched) I just thought it would be a good idea to just swing it behind me when I dig.

Working on a pic. It won't upload. Here it is again:

If you attach an arm cuff/strap, you will be able to let go of it so you you have two hands to dig, without setting it on the ground. I just let mine hang off my arm while I am digging my target. Some detectors have a slot on the cuff that you run the strap through. On others you attach a strap with Velcro.
