Is there any way I can make sure my rock is moqui marble

Strictly speaking, 'Moqui Marble' is a colloquial name that applies only to concretions from the Navajo Sandstone of America (principally in Utah).

That doesn't mean it's not a similar concretion from elsewhere. They're composed of a mixture of the oxides hematite and goethite and there should be enough hematite to give a distinctive red or reddish brown streak on the back (unglazed) side of a porcelain tile.
