Strange Item Found At The 1830’s Cobblestone House

Hello Forum,

I found this strange item at an old Cobblestone house. I found it on an edge of a field between the house and a barn. It has stars on it. It’s built very delicately. It has no fastener or loop on it, so an Earing or necklace would be difficult to imagine. Has anyone seen anything like this? Thanks for looking!

Looks like an earring that is missing the Shepards hook.
Have you looked at it closer(cleaned/rubbed) it to see if it's silver?

It’s copper. Very light duty, and fragile.
