Some of you may remember my abandoned road site from last summer. I decided to take a ride up there again today and do some hunting in the woods, the gun part was only 2 inches down and gave off quite the overload, it looks very much like a shotgun trigger with part of the barrel. was kinda wondering if anyone can date it. also found 2 crotals, a plated 14k kids ring, an aluminum comb and some very much needed silver. both the V and Canadian dime are 1910, my 2nd Barber quarter and my 9th Large Cent for the year, 1837,

Enjoy

The stampings and rivets make me think toy gun. Pop gun? Possibly, and maybe an air rifle? Monty

Nice finds.. What does the ring say inside it?

Steve

on one side it says A&Co directly across from that it says 14k,

I have found little aluminum combs like that at turn-of-the-century sites, and wondered if they might be lice combs.

Great crotal bells, you found!

Dang! Excellent assortment of relics Pro. Thats a great spot for lots of huntin'....

Keep safe...

Lots of great finds! Congrats on the old silver, too.

I'm with others in saying your trigger part is from a toy gun. I'm guessing 1930's - 50's ray gun.

Just a guess, though...
