Was walking around cayuga lake New York today, what parts are exposed...and stumbled across this. Looking at this thing it looks and feels stone, but its magnetic. It does have a rusty color, but there was a small spring nearby and all the rocks around it had this rusty filmyness to them. Could have swore it was stone untill I put a magnet to it. Any ideas?
