Stirrups of the sixteenth? Help

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum, thanks for welcoming me.
I want to ask you a question, about an article that i fount in the garbage, looking everywhere, able to find it can become grating stirrups of the sixteenth century, but i can't find anything more. Can you help me? thanks you very much :hello2:

The example in the book certainly looks like it would fit with the round toe armour/boots of the 1550's, but I question the support. With the small size strap that the attachment would offer, it wouldn't be very strong or durable or consistent. That stirrup would be turning to every and all points of the compass, would be hugely inconvenient to find if the knight lost the stirrup while prancing around dodging swords and axes while he tries to get his foot back in it. Give me something with a more substantial ring to run a 3 inch strap through. Wait, peasants weren't allowed to kill knights, just capture him and take is armour and ransom him to his family. Only way the poor SOBs in the "trenches" could make a profit in the war.
