Still pulling some good finds at my CW spot

Got out for a couple hours today at my little CW honey hole. Found a Williams cleaner bullet, rivet, some carved lead and what looks like the tip of a sword scabbard.

I had the same thought, leather strap with hole pulled over it

His has a broken base, but the more I look at it, the more I'm convinced that it's a cartridge box finial. And would certainly have had a leather holed strap upon it!

I never even thought of that but it could very well be. Here are a few off scabbards, both look very similar but i think you might be right.

It's a finial, I just don't want to act like a "know it all". The scabbard tip is more pointy than the finial. Good show my man!
