I found this sterling silver napkin ring today. It has some initials and on the inside it says "46 S". 103_0234.JPG

Fine looking ring. Sure it's crushed, but the artistic silver work looks awesome, I'd keep it if it had my initials.

i love that....what kind of area was this found in? what does 46 S stand for?

I found it on the lawn of an 1800's house. I'm trying to figure out what 46 S means.

Nice piece, it maybe your soil but it looks a little off colour for silver, fingers crossed though.:dontknow:

Congratulation!

Sweet silver !

I'm sure it's silver, It's sterling. It showed as half dollar and I've also found a sterling silver spoon last summer and the metal reacts the same way.

It might've belonged to the old lady who used to live at the house. She's still alive so we're trying to contact her, we don't know her name but we know her family.
