I managed a permission at an old stage stop that's situated on the Carson route of the California emigrant trail. I found an awesome butt plate off a Henry rifle, a broken sword, pewter spoon pieces, the top off a powder can, and a seated dime. I believe the dime is 1838 which would be my oldest coin by 5 years.
