I made it back to my springs site this afternoon.came home with one in the pocket.
3 1/8” with some serious creek stain. This ones missing the very bottom of the base.
I am uncertain as to its type. 369C494F-7185-441F-A323-5B2BE49365C4.jpgBAFE5CE8-77C5-46DC-BE88-73D5A31EC054.jpegB7824109-141D-4119-9F8A-497A89B85D30.jpeg8F7C660A-2959-4D7C-BBDB-7CB21D1409B5.jpeg329A446D-DDA9-46C2-9B77-B6108BDC0A30.jpeg329A446D-DDA9-46C2-9B77-B6108BDC0A30.jpeg21F40CD8-65B6-4DA0-BB2F-73BA3CA8C5AC.jpeg185B2E1C-2252-46EC-AB27-AD395A5EE40C.jpg1D8E2855-706F-49AC-BF07-FA5BD0C4A437.jpeg

Nice find! Snap base most likely was intentional. Love that creek staining...congrats

Nice find! Congratulation! If I could just remember what I read on these threads I might actually learn something here! Thanks for posting.

That’s a very nice point, reminds me of river finds,..I love that creek., sure looks different without snow and ice.

I would grub every bit of that gravel. I'm pretty sure I see two more worked rocks just in that pic.

that is a very nice point, good color and symmetry

I agree concerning the base is likely intentional formed like that.

I really like the staining on it, very nice recovery. Makes me want to put the boots on and go down to the creek today.
