Just wondering if anyone wanted to get together and go detecting once this ordeal is over. I consider myself new to the hobby and I am new to the area, looking for someone to help teach me the rounds.
I'm down. I don't have many spots I hit, or permissions, but I'm down to share mine if you share yours. There's a tendency for detectorists to be secretive about their spots, which I understand, but I don't mind sharing as long as etiquette is followed. What kind of machine do you have?
If you guys want to take a drive, head down outside of Pullman. Go across Lower Granite Dam to the South side of the river. About a 1/2 mile below the dam is a place all the college kids call the dunes. Flat sand bar on the river full of good stuff. I worked at the Dam for a year on a project. Spent my Sunday mornings there, lots of good finds. Just a idea, I know it’s a bit of a drive. The Army Corp. owns the RV park on the river “ North side “,the host let me detect the swim area there too.
