🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Spitzer-type bullet??

I’ve found a lot of old bullets—from mid-1800s to 1920s—near this old house, but never one like this. Quick research kept coming up with Spitzer but I don’t know—seems like the wrong material. Greenish tinge around end. Heavy. Soaking in olive oil to see if there are any markings. Don’t see anything yet.

Sorry to have to rain on anybody's parade, but... a US quarter-dollar coin is .953-inch wide. Therefore, the bullet shown next to the coin is definitely a good bit less than .50-inch wide. So it's not for the .50-caliber Browning Machine Gun or any other .50-caliber firearm.

Agreed, OP needs to show us the size with some calipers or something, but it's definitely smaller than a .50. A .50 next to a quarter would appear much larger than this.
