Spingsteel net thing

Found this in the road. It was in the compressed state with a cord tied around it to keep it compressed. When I untied the cord. it spring to the expanded form. It appears to be professionally made, and has labels sign in to the seams, but i can't read them due to fade. There are 2 of them tied together at the open ends. The closed ends have a flap made of the same material, but with velcro on 3 sides to seal the opening. The frame is a springsteel rod, bent at angles to allow compression. What in the world is this thing?

Wow..that trap is close. However keep in mind that my units have 1 end that velcros shut, and the other end is wide open. Anything in it would simply walk or swim out. My pictures show the 2 units with their open ends tied together with a string. If it was a hamper, why would it have 2 holes on the side, a velcro end, and an open end?

looks like a small pet display..sell puppies kittens etc..reach in to select New pet vecro end open to load pets back up,when the day ends also explains how it folds
