Spherical, damaged, lead(?) thing.

All I can think of is a damaged musketball but that doesn't feel right for some reason. Found in previously mentioned ballfield/farm field. Diameter about 7/8" on the longer axis of the spherical part (not including the mushroomed(?) part.

I don't know the size of it, but it looks like a fired musket ball. It will flatten on one side, and the other side will hold its shape. I have several like that.
