here isn't too much info on this, but a 2000-P has a similar variant, & some sites have stated that less than 100 are known to exist. The one featured in the following video has a similar "wounded Eagle, but the "spear" is not as long as the one on your specimen.

A Speared or Wounded eagle is the same thing. The coin I posted is a 2000-P. The coin I posted and the one on the video are one in the same. There is no long or shorted spear, (the spear is a gouge in the die, called a die gouge) the length is the same.

Yes, I stand corrected. The length is the same. I'm glad you have the 2000-P. And yes also, it is not a variant but a mint error, gouge in the die. Nice find !!
