Hey guys, found this chunk of what I believe is silver while metal detecting along the beach near a Spanish wreck. It rang up as silver on my metal detector and it is non magnetic. It also doesn’t weigh very much so I’m sure it isn’t lead. According to my own research I think it could be “plata corriente” otherwise known as common silver. The piece is about 4.4cm long, 0.7cm thick, and weighs about 17grams. What do you guys think?

Cool looks like some kind of melted metal smoothed a bit by the water. I would say get some acid and test it for silver. Even if it isn't silver should go find some more there maybe could find some other related artifacts and tell the story.
