PCGS is a third party grading service that will tell you if the coin is real, and if real, they will grade it for you for about $35.00. If real, never sell expense coins and treasures to local coin dealers, which pay you very little. Sell your treasures through coin auctions houses, like Stack's and Bowers out of New York City. Yes, and "time is money." There is no point in testing something you know is fake. Most of us on this thread have seen the exact same coin at tourist shops for $1-$3. If that coin was made from a precious metal, then the shops would be losing money, and I believe that they would be smarter than that. The best thing it could be made out of is copper-nickel with a brass plating.
