Spanish gold and silver??

I know it's not gold or silver...just needed a catchy tag line. With that being said, A friend of mine dug these up in their yard in rural Kansas. Has anyone seen these before? They are approx half dollar size and non-magnetic. Thank you!

Thought they looked like checkers too. Do you have an immage to show that, that is what they are for syre?

They may be from some type of board game, but not Chinese Checkers.
Chinese Checkers are a marble game.
Could be just checkers or tokens.
