Sorry my Darling Wife,

My detector has given me yet another gift of affection [emoji183] at the basketball court. Her name is now Aurora because she keeps giving me these gifts at dawn [emoji560]. I'm hers from 5:30am - 9:00. You can have me for the rest of the day though.

Dig, just thinking about this, those diamonds likely are real. It would be odd to set fake diamonds with a tanzanite and 14k. Tanzanite is not the hardedt of stones though, so yours might have scratches on it. But those diamonds, as we all know, can withstand most anything. I just didn't want you to think that it is a junk ring, because it certainly is not. I would take it to a jeweler and if your wife doesn't want it, maybe put it on eBay once you find out what the going price is. or, you can have the diamonds removed and set into something your wife would like. Lastly, tanzanite should not be cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner--stone could crack. -Lisa

Thanks for the info Lisa. Definitely good to know.

I planned on taking it and my other rings/jewellery to a Jeweller who inadvertently got me to take the leap into MDing just to be sure. I probably won't part with them anytime soon though. They are all my "Precious" [emoji7]
