Something for the small operator

its no good for what i want, thats not a continuous reverse spiral riffle. maybe you could fill in all their riffles with something like a fiberglass bondo and gel coat it then glue the extruded rubber riffle to the gel coat surface. thats probably the easiest and cheapest way to do it. im probably going to need atleast 8 of them. now we just need to get a good look at the profile of their extruded riffle

Can extruded rubber riffle be spiraled (attached) on a wood base or metal base?

im pretty sure they just use rubber cement to glue it their abs bowl
If it is a tight fit maybe super glue would be better?
Like gluing mats together.

the moderators wont let me post a link right now but i found a reverse spiral bowl for $200, it wont have the right profile but you could glue a extruded rubble riffle to it

Do you have info about different profiles?
Thanks.

Dang my old post from five and a half years ago. I took those pictures from maybe the second to the last Elko Nevada mine Expo I attended. In my opinion that show sure went down hill for the mine supply industry, because no one important from the big mine companies would show up anymore and the booths they had were all about recruiting more mine employees. The first one I attended probably 1992 was nothing but a good time from sun-up until the bars closed down buying drinks for those who had the authority to spend millions. One of the best moves I made was sitting at the bar and listening in on a table with some peddlers buttering up some key individuals of Barrick Gold. I told the bar tender I wanna fix up everyone at that table with another round of drinks. When they were served they all wondered who got the round. The waiter points to me and says that gentleman sitting there at the bar. They all said well thanks and why don't you come and join us and tell us who you are. That move turned out to be the biggest years I ever had out there. After that more and more competition moved into the Northern Nevada gold fields to get their piece of the pie. Funny how somethings things never last.

Well I want to thank you for posting a interesting post of equipment.
When I now click on your first link I get some sorting or direction site for different sales and not the equipment itself. Maybe I'm missing something in the process?

At least you had a few years of joy and usefulness with the mine Expo...........lol.
Thanks.

It was a long road beginning in 1977 that took me down the path of primarily underground mining which lead to some major underground civil projects also. I'm retired now but still involved with a few things going on with the resurgence of uranium. Last visit underground was about a couple months ago checking out a uranium mine with this fella from South Africa. It keeps me a bit in the loop, but I'm payed on my own terms now when I'm willing to act as an assistant with eager manufacturers of mining equipment, who'd like to break the ice and pitch what they do. I guess you could consider me as an experienced guide familiar with the territory.

neffco bowls are made from abs and shouldnt be left out in the sun or cold, they need to be protected, those are the guys that i say mine the miners, trying to sell old equipment thats been abused and trying to get top dollar for it. pretty much every ad for blue bowls come from them and another crew.

the 3rd picture looks like a reverse spiral but i think it would just be cheaper to buy a unit from china and just modify the bowl when you get it. heres the link

That country / rock out crop looks uniform in color and minerals looking at the photo.
I take it that there is a speck here and there going through the rock?

Not your first rodeo if you have been at it since 1977 my hat is off to you. :icon_thumright: :notworthy:

Me and the cat are just a :newbie: and it shows.

I shared the link but the moderators took it down, I guess we're not allowed to advertise for people that don't pay to advertise here. Im not sure how to get around that. My powers out and I'm on my phone atm. Yes that picture is what I was looking at because the first foot on the bottom has been opened up and laid flat so you can see the inside of the riffle. I think the profiles should look similar to a cresting wave
