Nice find Thanks for sharing ?
BTW will any us coin closely fit into it ?

Maybe a picture of a coin next to it might give someone more info and could id itbetter

I was just trying to get people to show the size of it. For me it is hard to imaging 2.3 cm

2.3 cm is really close to an inch. (an inch is 2.54 cm). But ask me to visualize 125mm or 275 ml and I'm lost without a conversion chart.

I find 2.5 cm = 1" is close enough for estimating under one foot. The error is just under 1/2" (0.48") per foot.

Likewise, 10 cm is just under 4" (3.94")

125 mm = 12.5 cm = 2.5 cm (~1") * 5 = ~5" (4.92")

For liquid measure, I remember a PSA from the 70s...
"A liter is a quart and a liter bit more" and extrapolate from there.

It's taken me a lifetime to try to convert to metric, and I'm still not there entirely. :dontknow:

I just think if they could put a picture of something next to what they wanted identified it would help us out
