I would put the more rare mint coins in a holder. If they are valuable.

Because when I have got a helmet from the ground he was rusty and not beautiful if you will pay attention that color of a helmet does not correspond to that that was within war. Simply I have painted him that he was beautiful and pleased an eye, it is not possible to dig out a helmet about more than 5 % of the stayed paint. Helmets were or green (summer) smart and white (winter) and this helmet I have painted with autoenamel

Ok...personally I think it would have been far more pleasing to the eye in its original condition after you excavated it. Once you paint and decorate it, you lose the historical value of it.
