The rock have v shaped notches across it like may be it was used for knapping. The other thing in the middle could have been used for well..... your quess is as good as mine but it has definitely been used it has almost a greasy feel to the dark spot. Lets here what you guys think

the rock on the right is about the size of my hand I will measure them and get back with you. Yes all the things I have found come from North Alabama.

My youngest son is about to move to Florence, AL to attend college. I'll have to see about him locating some places to hunt. I have a lot of good friends in north Alabama matter fact when I retire my wife and I have been talking about moving there. Plenty places to fish.
