i found this yesterday it is aluminmum..i don't want to over clean it...
have any of you ever seen something like this??
thanks for looking...hh OWG...its about the size of a quarter...
it is two pieces like a small compact..

Actually, I guess it's a little small for a condom tin. It could be beauty cream or who knows what. You need to clean it up some so we can make out the lettering. Your photo is pretty blurry when enlarged.

tried to open it and snap..it broke into pieces.....booo hooo.
i'm gonna try to clean and put it back together...it must of been plated metal..

Can you make out the lettering at all?

It almost looks like it says Grease...or maybe Green...I can see a GRE

makes me think of a musket primer tin

On my aluminum tokens that are already in pretty bad shape, I use a small soft brass brush and go only in one direction. First let it soak in mineral oil for a day or two if you're not in a hurry. Brings Palmolive tokens and such back great.
