Found all these relics from a dump right across the street, I went out yesterday and found an iron whipped cream can in good condition and an old bottle, I have finds from the last few months. Me and my brother have to hurry up and dig it out because the township might bulldoze it soon. Anyways I hope you enjoy the video! We have stuff from the late 1800s to the 1960s. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bCeEuFpAlic

I like your video and finds, I think the metal object you thought was a cosmetic holder is a salt and pepper shaker, maybe for camping or to put in your lunch box (maybe, just speculating)

Thank you very much for the feedback, my brother videotaped the video and made quite a few mistakes. I too believe that the one cylinder shaped tube was a salt shaker. I am glad you enjoyed my video!

Nice saves! Maybe the flavoring is sugar?

Thank you, I want to save as much as possible before other people start digging there or before it becomes bulldozed by a group of archeologist I told about the spot who now want to excavate it. Even though I am all for other people saving history, they practically stole the spot from me and in all their bottle digs they use heavy gear that would ruin most the bottles. Anyways I also believe the flavoring could be sugar or salt.

that tin is in excellent condition - I would be absolutely shocked if any archeologists would spend more than 5 minutes at this site - unless someone famous lived there/used this dump - they really have no interest in stuff from the 1900s - (there are literally thousands and thousands of dumps like this around) - not sure why you would even mention it.....

I have pulled out some cool stuff from this dump and have figured out many things about my city by digging personalized items owned by people that lived there. I hope that I can continue going.

Awesome survivor that whip can is crazy stuff. Curious that no sugar is in the ingredients.

Yeah I was surprised about that too. Hopefully I can dig more old cans like that when it warms up. The reason why I think the cans are in such good shape is because they were both found inside other jars. Thanks for your time!
