Found this on a hike this morning, it's kind of pretty, what do you all think, nice lapidary material?

Only way to know if it'll polish out is to tumble or cut it up. Has some nice color to it though.

Thanks DDancer, I love the colors to, I'll grab a bunch next winter when it cools off and let someone else have some fun with it, I never really have time to finish much of anything I start lol and I love prospecting more than anything else so when I'm not working I'd rather be out in the desert where it's quite without all the ridiculous behavior right now all across the country, being out there for me is better than going to a private beach or Disneyland for that matter and probably why I'm single :laughing7:

Kind of an interesting black and white with a slight hint of blue and gray agate/chalcedony I found I thought I'd share. 20200703_081502.jpg20200703_081512.jpg20200703_081609.jpg20200703_081603.jpg20200703_081616.jpg20200703_082113.jpg

Cool finds. The only other place I've seen purple agate, with red spot inclusions, is the Middle Fork Teanaway River in Central Washington. The purple shade was lighter, and the spots fewer.

That is attractive stuff, I remember another fellow posted here some similar looking material a while back not to far from your location, but I cant find the post to see what he called it.
