Hello all! These came out of a plantation in Charleston, I'm having trouble IDing these. I suspect the large brass & iron object is some sort of locking mechanism but I have never seen anything like it before. It is marked Carpenter with a WR & crown (dates to 1830s by this). It also has patented & another WR crown. The handle - is it off a piece of furniture or something like a document box? I'm clueless on the other stuff. No modern trash at all came out of this place, all old. As always any help us appreciated! HH!

Picture 1 looks like a drawer pull : The piece that looks like a bugle mouthpiece is probably a stem off of an old glass or porcelain doorknob: The piece with the square hole is probably the other end of the stem.
The one iron piece on the bottom with the square cut out is the strike side or "keeper" from a Carpenter Door (Rim) Lock.
The curved brass piece with the slot is probably a transom window pivot.

It has a screw sticking out the flat end to screw in the wall, and a rubber end over the small end to hit the door so that when you swing the door open it hits this instead of the doorknob hitting the wall. You can see where the screw rusted off.
