Those are some beautiful coins....think you could share some history for us on them and the stories of the finds?
 

Hi Gypsy...

Well, the Gulden, Seated Half, and the Phoenix button all came from around Mission San Jose, in Fremont, CA as did the hammered copper knife from this previous post:

Any time they push dirt around this neighborhood I'm usually on it. The Barber and the Franklin came out of Memorial Park in Hayward. It's an older park and every time I go there I usually pull out a wheatie or two, but sometimes you get lucky! I found the Seated Quarter in a lot in Belmont, eyeballed it actually, right out from under my buddy's nose. Another lucky find!

You mean there's cool coins like that right here in CA? Wahooooo! Now I can convince my wife that I haven't completely lost my mind.

I get out as often as possible and keep hoping for something like that. Congratulations.
