UPDATE some odds

UPDATE the lid is a milk bottle lid ,,,,,,,,quick hunt while it was still wet and soft dirt today , found a tin lid first thought was cool a merry widow container but looks to be a milk jar lid still not sure, then a flashy lite , and a mason jar with lid an a razor blade some of the thing you can find in a corn field is crazy i tell ya

Cool finds, I dug a razor blade in a park once and I now wear gloves when detecting lol
 

i use avn flt gloves they are light weight and provide good dexterity and thick enough to prevent cuts but thin enough to feel objects

I just wear some old mechanix. You can't really feel anything in em
 

i think you can get them from mil surplus stores at low cost or can buy them at full price new

I wear mechanix too, but digging two weekends ago at a bottle dump, when pulling a wine out, I cut myself on a broken piece of glass that went straight through the glove.
