The buckle looks to be colonial, although I am not an expert.
The small button links were found in the same hole along with an old ax head.
The copper “coin size” item is the most interesting of all – no markings to indicate that it was a minted coin – only the letter “W” carved into one side.

Any insight on these items would be appreciated.

Excellent finds,

Any finds are good finds for me since I have trouble kneeling now. You did fine............ :hello2:

I believe they are Colonial as well--a broken shoe buckle, a broken cufflink, and a copper of some sort.

Excellent finds, How do you like the MXT I'm thinking about getting one for my son. Is it easier to use than The XLT?

JC,
The MXT is a great machine - not as complicated and not as deep as the XLT.
I'm very happy with it - Highly recommended.

Nice find's KS....I've had my MXT for about a year and a half now and found it's a very versatile machine for whatever you want to do.A slight turn of a dial and you have a whole different machine.Congrat's on the find's,nice piece's.
