Some in-situ's from today

We braved the Oklahoma winds today to try to find an artifact....I did pretty good with 2 whole points, 2 tips and some pottery.
My youngest daughter found a nice little triangle(tip was slightly damaged).

Super Cool points! Man, you have good eyes. Maybe we need to title you as ''Eagle Eyes''

What is the first one called? Has a nick on the tip but has a cool looking shape.

It looks like an exhausted Gary to me, but I am not good at types---just when I think I've got it figured out, someone tells me I'm wrong :) . I hope someone that knows Oklahoma types chimes in.
Thanks for the comments old digger, bsit1361 and rock!

Awesome finds!

Nothing like the winds you all have. I always keep waiting for it to stop.:laughing7: That bottom right insitu is mighty pretty. That one looks perfect. Rare now days. Thanks for taking us on your hunt. I am not even going to try chime in on what kind it is. I am usually wrong too. :/

Maybe its upside down? Maybe the long part should be facing the other direction. Can we get a close up on it both directions?

I tried to get some better pictures in the natural light......I think this is just an exhausted Gary...it even looks like it has an impact fracture on one side. Weren't Gary's used as knives?

And TnMtns---The wind is one thing you can ALWAYS count on in Oklahoma :) ! I think it helped us a little yesterday cause we'd been over this gravel bar a couple of weeks ago and there were so many leaves it was hard to see anything. The winds must've pushed those leaves off these points :) .
Thanks everyone for the comments!

nice day you had,i also like the bottom right one, looks like the ones we have around here.thanks for sharing

Looks close to a Gary. We show in my guide for here but I havent found one yet. It has a lot of good flaking showing on it.

GREAT PICS BUD!!! Wish I wood have takin pics when I first started huntin. It will never look the same as it does when you first see it! You hit the nail on the head when you call it a GARY. A very worn one. CONGRATS.. HH

The more I look at it the more I like it because it is so used up! that's kinda different, more broken ones are found I think than worn out whole ones, they have character! Great pictures as always!
