some dirt pictures and a few finds

some of this dirt is loaded with stuff
the images show a few finds which are not spectacular by any means but still show some stuff

I like the tiny red jasper scraper, it has the graver tips on it which should date it older than 3000 B.P.
the more recent and plentiful scrapers from the Dakota's did not have the graver tips on them (on the right and left sides of the main scraping edge)

Larson' if I get to come on vacation this next year, can I explore just the ground in the last picture? I see so many things that I would like to have in my collection, pottery shards, bones and rocks...great dirt pics like always....

I know I am counting on him and thirty7 and the rest of you guys to keep the site up and running this winter .Heck I may have to dig out a few items myself. Going CW hunting myself this sat before the dozers get it
