It's 9:30 am, 72 degrees, no wind, no humidity, no bugs, and I'm detecting on a beautiful beach/lake in rural South Dakota.
After about what seems like the 100th pull tab, I start complaining to myself about how terrible all this trash is and how I deserve to find a 18k ring:laughing7:
Then it hits me how blessed I really am.......Wonderful wife, two grown healthy kids, retired at 53 and able to enjoy this great hobby. My heart still races whether it's a penny or a ring in the scoop. Just to be able to detect on such a beautiful day is a blessing:notworthy:
To top it off I found this.....(1905 Dime) didn't know what I had until I was cleaning off my clad finds in the sink when I got home! unnamed.jpgunnamed (1).jpg

...self-made zillionaire, golden parachute, guvmint pension, inheritance, or you robbed a race track? Good for you, any which way!
