Hopefully the weather is turning for the better and spring is finally here. It wasn't the best day, but I was able to get out to a local high schools sports field and found some items. I found a .925 ring with a "LCF" stamp; anyone know what the LCF stands for? I found .45 cents in clad and a solid brass "thingy". The thingy looks to be a knob of some sort, but it has threaded holes in the ball end and is only 2 inches tall by 1.5 inches in diameter. Maybe someone has seen something like it before. It was found about 8 inches deep. I was teaching my son to use the Bounty Hunter Tracker II and when he got bored I messed with it for a while. Pretty good for a cheap detector, but maybe I will hit the field again with my GTI 2500.
