A recent post reminded of some of these bigger rocks. The glass in the photo has a worked edge and was found at an Indian site.

just realized that if you click on the photo it blows the picture up for a better look at the rocks. That dark oval rock to the right of the glass is pretty thin. It looks like it has been cooked. Hold it to the light and you can see thru it. I found the rock source spot of some of these rocks, sent some home to my knapping buddy who knapped some nice points out of the rock. All of it knapped better after it was cooked up.
