Some Artifacts from Nevada

Once again I braved the icy wind to go out and search the desert. I figured it was probably my last chance to get to one of my sites as the roads become impassable once the snow or rain hits, which it has now.
Not a whole lot showing out there, but did luck into an obsidian Northern Sidenotched/Bitteroot dart that was reworked and used as a knife.

That’s a gorgeous one, don’t find a lot of side notches around here and definitely not obsidian

that's really cool. I really love finding points, although I've not really found very many. A couple of places I used to go, the owners have passed away and I have no idea who owns the land now.

Nice hunt. That material would have to be considered the cats meow for the sharpness and flaking. I wonder if they realized how lucky they were to be in area that had it?
