I went out for a couple of hours.
The clay field was really hard.
5 hard stomps to get a 3 inch plug.

Plus things weren't really great it seemed off.

Yes there's a huge solar flare on us now.
Though it only takes a silver to brighten the day.

Nice find.
Yeah those flares wreak havoc with Minelab PIs. I had many a give up days on the bad ones. Warbling and pinging non stop.

Was it affecting your Dēus II?
I haven't gotten out in a couple weeks.

Όλα αυτά είναι ελληνικά για μένα!
The soil was hard, slam the shovel in an it might go 1".

I can just tell that things were off a tad, machine wasn't as smooth running.
Probably most wouldn't have noticed, but I know these fields.

It measures the solar intensity.
So its not Greek to you anymore.

sweet silver! wtg and keep hammerin' (diggin') away
Thanks
When clay dries up it certainly become very hard. When wet very sticky!
Even the folks that live on the field edge commented on how hard it was.

Sorry, but it is, and you didn't answer the question. 🤨

Did it affect your MD, and if so, how? Forewarned is forearmed.
Read my first reply.
I answered it .😁

I like that dime and the looks of the field you are hunting. The dime is in great shape. As I recall, King Edward had a short reign.

Sorry, yelling it louder doesn't make it any clearer.
Too cryptic. I'm out.
No yelling from me.
The screen shot came in a little dark and big though explaining the linked site.

For explaining the effects on the detector it's kind of hard when I myself isn't all that adversed in the radio freq. lingo.

You have a year under your belt-I have 55 under mine but still it doesn't help me explain it.
Sort of a feeling that things are not the same in the smoothness of the operation.

It's like once I was detecting in High Park Toronto (400 acres). There was this big rumbling thunderstorm and the detector was hitting targets left and right.
I dug 6 keepers in 30 minutes in an area where I had gone many times.(Till the skies opened)
It was like the site area was alive with signals.
Went back 3 days later and it was like the machine wasn't working. :dontknow:

A well dug site down the road 11 buttons and the colonial cuff link.
I went back the other day-2 little pieces of lead and one button in 2.5 hrs
So the solar radiation does effect the operation of the detectors I believe.
