Software for mag surveys

I am currently using a laptop to capture the data gained from our mag surveys. We have been using the computer's hypertext function and storing the data that way, however, the lines of data are endless and very tedious to pour through since they are not numbered (it often takes days). Can anyone recommend a good software program compatable with a JW Fishers Pulse 10 mag? Thanks.

J.W. Fisher makes a data and tracking software package for the pulse 10. Unfortunately it costs about $1,000. I tried to find used software on this forum with no luck.
