So ... Who Really Was To Blame For The Shutdown? George of course!

i'd say it was funny, but...

I always wonder at people who insult others rather than putting forward some rational or factual data.

the constant claim that others are ignorant or stupid because the insulters do not understand something typed or spoken...

I don't call people liars, I do mention when others are not being truthful...to others or themselves.{"Methinks thou dost protest too much", William Shakespeare}

I see now who is truly to blame for the shutdown...and it is us...every adult human in the united states of America.

Great Video!...I love seeing how ignorant people really are in this country....I will never forget the day Obama was elected..they were asking the young Black voters WHY they voted for him...One of the responses was "Cuz he gonna take care of us black folks".....truley a great reason...lol

1. I wasnt talking to you.
2. Your 3rd point is a direct contradiction to your 1st point.

You would need to read the ENTIRE exchange, in context, because you have also missed my point entirely.

1. This isn't your forum. If you make a post, anyone may reply to it.

2. My third point is that it is my opinion. Apparently you didn't comprehend what I wrote. I didn't miss your point, I exposed your bias.

When people ask who is responsible for the shutdown, I simply point out that if Democrats held a majority in the House, we wouldn't have had a shutdown at all. That tells you right there who caused it: republicans

Sit down and have a cup of coffee with me, brother. You need to read this.

Where did they get all the fancy new signs? Granted some places may have already had them, but a lot didn't. We all know how long it takes the gov't to procure something. So in essence, this may or may not have been planned many, many months ago. And considering the Democrats got to appoint people to the various positions, the blame should rest on the Democrats.

Now in my eyes, and many others, BOTH sides are responsible. BOTH sides are full of infantile egomaniacs who only care about what they want and doing whatever it takes to get reelected. Case in point: The Republicans fight to keep the subsidies going for Big Oil, keeps the GOP coffers filled. Sorry, if your making billions a year in profit, you don't need a subsidy. Now Mom and Pop's diner down the street, fighting to keep the family business open, they nee a subsidy.

The Democrats do everything they can to stop any kind of serious social services reform. Sorry, it needs to happen. Some of these people need forced back into the work force. Able bodied people DO NOT need welfare, they need to go to work and contribute to the system instead of feeding off it. Yet, nothing is done on this issue as the Democrats know that these people will vote for them to keep their free ride going.

Meanwhile, our entire country is circling the drain ever faster. More and more people are losing everything that matters to them. This needs to stop. And if the infantile egomaniacs in D.C. won't do anything about it, then throw them ALL out and replace them with people who will.

Donald,

I think the world as we know it is about to end. Two thing we agree on in two days? Oh, the humanity of it.:laughing7:

In many way, we are responsible for this. It is our job to inform the less informed. But then again, we, as a species, tend to be rather lazy and willing to take the easy way out most of the time. It's always easier to take a free lunch than work for one. Problem is, there is no such thing as a free lunch. Everything has a price. And in this case, the price is rather high. Our freedom, self respect, dignity, ability to care for ourselves, and probably many more I can't think of right now.
