Wow, that's definitely interesting. Looks like you have a match. Although, you'd would almost have to carbon date it (if that's possible on metal) to verify this. Maybe a native American specialist could assist, though they may ask questions and confiscate it. Cool find none the less

It's so similar.. But what would it be doing beside an aincent site in ireland... Traded maybe?

Ooh didn't know that's where it was found. Well, yes, could have been traded or could have been a skill learned from the native americans and used in ireland. Heck, could have been a souvenir and brought back. A mystery you have there.

Looks to be a Historic NA item. We have a forum here if you want to post it and ask.
 

During the Bronze Age and later, they experimented with all sorts of materials for Arrow points, So, why would it be hard to imagine that some local Clan's warrior defenders or even invader warriors would use such an item???!!! The cuts in the metal appear too clean for Native Americans to have produced! Although, I guess that they could have traded for it or even taken it during a winning battle but that doesn't explain how it made it to Ireland.
